too much going on

I've been gone for a while. I promise to get back on track soon.

Business has been crazy busy ! Yeah ! Family problems, Mark's been gone alot, and of course of new addition to our "herd" who is a delight.

I'm unburying my desk today, working on taxes and the upcoming MS Walk.
I also have to fold tons of shirts as my inventory levels were so depleted.

Had a good nights sleep.a nice cup of coffee with Mark and lots of play time with
the doggies.

Will be back in full force soon....

This has been a crazy week. Didn't get any orders and was quite confused.

It seems our web host was having problems and 90% of their clients sites
were not working. Ouch ! http://www.themsshoppe.com/ is now back up and running.

I was impresed how quickly they fixed it once I brought it to their
attention. Don't find customer service like that much these days.

Thank you for fixing it so quickly.

If anybody was trying to order something on sale and you couldn't do it, please email us and we'll make it work.

Yesterday I recieved a thank you note in the mail.

I love sending them ( I'm a little old fashioned, I love snail mail)
but I rarely recieve them.

It was from the group that organized the NMSS event in Green Bay
a few weeks ago.
They thanked Mark and I by name for participating in the event.

Very nice finish to a wonderful event.

Thanks to you also. We had a nice time.

Today on my facebook page for the business http://www.themsshoppe.com/ I posted an adorable picture of a bear I just bought for the website.

The bear itself is not for sale yet. It should be here in the next few days.
I am holding a "name me" contest. You can post a suggestion or two or twelve on my blog here or my facebook page.

The winner, in addition to bragging rights, you will recieve a " big white fluffy bear" .

So the bear is our newest addition to our MS Hug Bears. I sell so many bears I am constantly running out of stock and because our MS is always changing I like to also change the bears.
I also buy closeouts in large quantities.

This MS Hug bear is 18 inches, white, fluffy and super soft. But it needs a name.

So, please please please tell your friends and families about this bear's dilemna and help us name it.

My first suggestion was Marshmellow Fluff Bear. Put your thinking caps on and I am sure you can do better than me.

Fun things happening at The MS Shoppe

Things here at the business have been crazy. Busy busy busy.

Mark flew home from Australia on Saturday and I was so busy with orders. I always like to stay busy when he travels back from home across the pond and I did.

Mark had to use our big tub ( from the post office) to carry all the orders to the post office on Monday.

New MS Hug Bears

Haven't shown new product in a while so here is a picture of our new MS Hug Bears.

They are tye dyed. One is blue tye dye and the other is orange tye dye. I knew they were a perfect fit because our colors are blue and orange. Wow what are the chances of that?

I will have another crew of bears being added this weekend. They are so adorable too !!

and the new set comes with names !!

As I sit here on the eve of the New Year I ponder many thoughts.

Resolution or no resolution?

Goals..for myself and my business

What will the New Year have in store for my health?

Will 2010 be the year we find a cure?

I will ponder these questions and get back to you. I'm sharing a glass of champagne with my hubby. Albeit a few hours early, please don't call the New Years police. If you do I will greet them at the door with a glass of bubbly. Probably staggering, oh wait that will be the MS.

If you don't already know it, I love champagne. I almost always have an open bottle of bubbly in my fridge. tonight I am going pink.

Enjoy everybody. Have a wonderful celebration. Be safe. Please don't drive if you have been drinking.

Mark is on hhis way home

So after a long 15 hour flight ( something I don't know if I could ever do) Mark is on his way home.

He called from Chicago after trying unsuccessfully to get an earlier flight to Wisconsin.

The weather is turning bad. It is raining like crazy and the winds are really picking up so I am hoping he doesn't get stuck in Chicago.

The Packers won today. A good game to watch. However the Redskins lost to the worst team in NFL history. Detroit hasn't won a game since Dec 2007. That's 19 consecutive losses.
I am happy for Detroit. If there ever was a town that needed a win and a pick me up it is Detroit. So congrats. To the Redskins fans ( most of my family) sorry for the loss. I know it is painful.

I got so much stuff done today and I feel like I am paying the price now because I feel exhausted.
I got all the goodies boxed up for my adopted soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I got my orders ready to go to the post office. Now when the sweatshirts are ready later on this week I will just have to send those orders.
I even transfered money from my Paypal account to my checking account. Always a good feeling when it looks like you are making money. haha !

You can now access the business from my blog. Remember I donate a portion of all sales to NMSS and MSF. Always have and always will.

I am still looking for crafters who want to sell their stuff on my site. Go to crafters corner to see what I have so far. With the holiday season approaching thiscould be an opportunity for us MS ers to show our stuff.

Sweatshirts are selling like hot cakes. Already had to reorder once.

This is the same layout as the T shirts that read I DO THE MS WALK EVERY DAY

Many people asked for them and I have been making them to order when I restock my inventory but I decided to gear up for winter and add them as a new product.

If you need a size other than what I have listed, please let me know.

I listed these on Facebook yesterday afternoon and had to re-order by late afternoon.

They will be available to ship next week.
